Crown Princess Mary of Denmark Take Part In A Sailing Match On Sydney Harbour, During Their 2-Week Visit To Australia in February 2005.


Crown Princess Mary waves as she departs for a yacht race against her husband on Sydney harbour on February 27, 2005. Princess Mary defeated her husband 2-1 in the best of three races in Farr40 boats. The Royal couple are attending various events on their 13-day visit, including a reception hosted by Prime Minister John Howard, celebrations to mark the bicentennial of the birth of Denmark's famed storyteller Hans Christian Andersen, Danish community events, a hospital visit and state dinners.
